"Month article" award
The SFBBM instituted the "article of the month" competition in 2011. It is aimed at young researcher(s) or PhDs under the age of 35, who himself or one of the co-authors is a member of the SFBBM up to date of his contribution or affiliated with the SFBBM then of the nomination of the applicant.
Candidate(s) propose to the Society a recent publication (less than twelve months) of which they are first author. Each month, an article is selected by our committee and appears on the Society’s websites and Facebook.
At the end of the year, one of the selected items is awarded. The laureate(s) is then invited to present his/her results at the annual congress of the SFBBM and receives an award in the amount of 500 euros, travel expenses remaining at his/her charge.
The selection committee consists of Zaineb Kammoun, Corinne Lionne, Véronique Receveur-Bréchot, Helene Munier-Lehmann, Martin Picard and Pierre Santucci.
The article must be accepted and accessible, in published form, under press or “online ahead of print”, and remain eligible for twelve months following its publication date. With fewer than five candidates, the committee reserves the right to withdraw its choice the following month.
Do not hesitate to contest, whatever the subject of your research and the review in which you have published.
"Year article" award
