Julien Soudet, 31 ans, a réalisé sa thèse au laboratoire de Biologie Moléculaire des Eucaryotes (Toulouse).
Durant son doctorat sous la direction de Jean-Paul Gélugne et Annie Mougin, il a caractérisé une voie non canonique de maturation de la petite sous-unité ribosomique chez Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
Il s’intéresse dorénavant, en tant que post-doctorant, aux mécanismes moléculaires de raccourcissement des télomères chez S. cerevisiae dans le laboratoire de Teresa Teixeira à l’Institut de Biologie Physico-Chimique (Paris),
