2016: Meeting of the SFBBM thematic group "SifrARN"

The 10th SifrARN 2016 Meeting was held in Toulouse from 8 to 10 March 2016 at the Pierre-Paul Riquet Convention Center and was organized by Béatrice Clouet d'Orval, LMGM, UMR5100, Toulouse and Pierre-Emanuel Gleizes, LBME, UMR5099, Toulouse.

This congress, organized with the French Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, aims to bring together biochemists, biophysicists, chemists and biologists to discuss the multiple aspects of RNA biology, their structural dynamics and their functions In physiological and pathological processes.

This 10th edition of SifrARN has focused more particularly on the concept of guide RNA: from molecular functions to synthetic biology.

This theme was the occasion to celebrate the 20 years of the discovery of the mode of action of the small RNA C / D or H / ACA by teams of Toulouse.A series of plenary lectures was organized around this theme.

Four prestigious conferences were given by:

  • Tamás Kiss, LBME Toulouse
